You are a Cinderella Story!

If there has ever been an NCAA tournament with great Cinderella stories - it is happening right now.

There are the 8th seeded Butler Bulldogs in the Final Four, along with the 3rd seeded UCONN Huskies, the 4th Seeded Kentucky Wildcats and of course the 11 SEED - VCU Rams. Talk about unexpected, hard to believe, and coming out of nowhere! VCU had to win a "play in" game just to get into the tourney - and now they are one win away from the grandest stage of college basketball!

You need to realize, that you - yes you are a Cinderella story. Maybe you had it rough, came from wrong side of tracks - maybe you didnt, maybe you were born into wealth, a nice home etc. Either way...you are part of the greatest Cinderella story ever told...............the story of JESUS!

I mean check it out - Christ was born in a manger - a stable - i would bet, MOST of us had the luxury of a hospital, or at the very least, a car! Not Jesus - there was no room for HIM, you think they could have made room for a pregnant woman - but it obviously wasnt the Comfort Suites. Then Jesus is known as a Carpenters Son - not much too that, nothing special, nobody every really thought too much about the young boy who was handy with the tools. He was just Josephs & Mary's boy.

However, as the public ministry began, people started taking notice of the GREATNESS of Jesus. He traveled from town to town, healing, setting people free, feeding the hungry masses, and offering hope to the hopeless. Just when it seems that people are realizing who HE IS and what HE can do for them -- HE GOES HOME - to Nazareth- but is not even welcome among those he grew up with - His family - his friends, those who knew HIm.

And they were deeply offended and refused to believe in him. Then Jesus told them, "A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family."

Understand this NEVER stopped Jesus from doing what He was placed on earth to do. This never caused Him to not fight to fulfill His purpose. He simply shook the dust of His feet - and moved on to those who could see the worth and the value in who He was. To them He was just ordinary - they didnt think HE would ever do anything great- but maybe build some great woodwork with his hands ---- but in the end -- HE took the same nails in those hands to save all of mankind! Talk about a CINDERELLA STORY!

Today - YOU are a Cinderella story! Why - because HE was - and the times when you feel like there may not be much to you, to your future, or to where you are from or to what you have -- remember JESUS.  Some of the same soldiers who ridiculed, spat upon Him, cursed Him, and mocked Him - fell at His feet saying surely this is the SON OF GOD!

Stay FIXED - STAY FAITHFUL - STAY FOCUSED - and watch your Cinderella Story unfold!
